U.S. Army Infantry. The camp crossed many county lines being located in Hoke, Richmond, Moore and Scotland Counties, portions of the camp were disposed of from 1945-1949. IN 1952 the recently established U.S. Army Special Forces began training at the camp. The site is used to train anti-terrorism teams and houses the 19-day course in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) established around 1967. 
Matchbook Cover Postcard. This unusual postcard was an answer to the shortages that happen during war. Starting its lie as a matchbook it was designed so that once the matches were used it could be sent as a postcard.
